attached to each strut of Nieuport fighter, credited with downing of
German hydrogen-inflated Zeppelin LC-77. The Belgian, Willy Coppens, and
Briton, Albert Ball, reportedly used rockets effectively against German
balloons until incendiary bullets were developed.
